Last minute stop and what a blessing it was. Service was fast and polite. Ambiance was pretty relaxed and there were a couple other tables with single diners. Got the omega roll and it was fresh, creamy, and very filling. There's street parking in the front or in the neighborhood on the side.
Went to visit after a long time and still the food, service and vibes of this place hasn't change. Delicious as always the consistency of the taste absolutely . The only Ramen place a go to, truly. I would highly recommend this place. Don't take my word for it, visit and experience yourself. Love ya Umigame
One word i would describe umigame is remarkable!! The service is quick and easy , the chicken ramen has got to be one of the best ramens i've ever tasted and it never disappoints!! Sushi always fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is cute . Definitely would eat here again!!
my go-to for quick ramen! I love their black tonkatsu ramen and veggie ramen, it seems like the broth is great quality and doesn't make me feel sick or bloated. the wait is never long because staff are super efficient and attentive. the rolls are big for the price. unfortunately there's no parking lot so you'll have to park on Ventura or turn onto a side street!
Solid sushi and other dishes. Nothing to write home about but happy with everything we ordered. Service was excellent. They were super friendly, refilled water, changed plates, packed leftovers all with a smile. I could sense many regulars frequent this place. Its dim lit which is nice to relax.
Love this place! This review is way overdue... Been a customer of Umigame since 2020 and it's only gotten better! This is the only place that I don't mind doing the long drive just to eat at their establishment. First, friendly and attentive service staff, and then, the drinks are amazing (happy hour all day long!), and of course the food -- try it all!!! Please go hungry :0 and try the sushi, add some tempura, and a protein or ramen and enjoy the experience. Looking forward to more enjoyable and memorable meals -- thank you, Umigame!
This restaurant is THE BOMB! Recently discovered it in our neighborhood, and the food is excellent and reasonably priced! They even have an "All Night Happy Hour" special for a large Sake for only $4.95! Plus efficient and friendly service! Deserves all 5 stars ‼
*disclaimer - I have only ever ordered delivery. Umigame is my new obsession. I decided to try it on a whim a week ago and I've ordered it 2 more times since then. The ramen hits the spot! It comes hot and delicious. They also listen and pay attention to customizations/modifications. I've only ever ordered a Cali roll for sushi because I'm usually disappointed with take out sushi but was very surprised how large and packed the rolls are! I can't wait to be able to go check them out in person. But until then I'll be happily doordashing them to me weekly!
Umigame is definitely a restaurant that I've bookmarked! The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and greeted me if they walked by. The food was amazing. I started with the cauliflower bites and each one was so crispy. I also ordered Sunrise Roll & OMEGA Roll. The Salmon and Avocado on the sunrise roll were so good! I've gone to other restaurants where the salmon can be extra fishy, this melted in my mouth! I love the omega roll with the shrimp tempura. The fish was so fresh too! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking up yelp reviews on here. I will definitely be coming back.
